Poco Lee: UK Court Fixes New Date After Setback

A UK court has adjourned the plea and trial preparation hearing involving Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, to February 2027.

The case came up on Tuesday at Snaresbrook Crown Court, but the proceedings could not go ahead because the charge sheet was unavailable. Consequently, Poco Lee did not appear in court and was unable to enter a plea.

The court has now fixed February 8, 2027, for the plea and trial preparation hearing, when the entertainer is expected to indicate whether he is guilty or not guilty of the charges against him.

The trial has also been scheduled to begin on March 8, 2027.

The latest development follows Poco Lee’s earlier appearance before the court, after which he was granted bail on September 11.

Several Nigerians reportedly attended Tuesday’s proceedings in support of the entertainer. The court gallery was said to have reached capacity, with some supporters left waiting outside.

Following his initial court appearance, reports emerged that Poco Lee had been granted bail, while videos of the entertainer discussing his experience in the UK circulated online.

Snaresbrook Crown Court subsequently confirmed the bail decision to the BBC, which reported that Poco Lee remained on bail pending further proceedings.
